We offer the opportunity for you to enjoy not only beautiful treatments, but also a tranquil and peaceful environment. Please respect the quiet and privacy of other guests by using a lowered voice and switching mobile phones to silent mode.
Our award-winning staff are highly trained to perform our range of services for you. If your service does not meet the expected outcome we will gladly try to rectify the situation, at no charge, on your next visit.
It is not possible to maintain the wonderful treatments and services we provide without the correct recommended at-home hair and skincare.
Buoy Take Home Guarantee
We have researched and invested a lot of time, energy and training to ensure we have the very best products and most highly trained technicians that our industries provide. This is why we happily stand behind our home care product range. If you are not satisfied with a product we have recommended, please return and we will happily exchange for an alternative.
Our Time Guarantee
To allow un-pressured, quality time for your appointment, and to ensure we are consistently on time, our policy is that we may need to reschedule clients who are more than 15 minutes late.
In return we take responsibility for any staff member who is more than 15 minutes late and offer a complimentary voucher for use on your next visit.
We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
As a courtesy to all our clients all treatments are completed as scheduled.
Medical Requirements
Please notify our front desk manager whilst booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, other physical ailments, or if you are pregnant.
Cancellation policy
As a client of Buoy Salon & Spa, we value you choosing to spend your time with us. Your appointment time is reserved just for you. We understand that sometimes adjustments and cancellations are necessary, but we ask you to appreciate that when you cancel or reschedule an appointment without sufficient notice, it directly affects the earning ability of your chosen stylist or therapist, and also means clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive our services.
We understand that life doesn’t always go to plan, therefore we kindly ask that you give us no less than 24 hours‘ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Less than 24 hours‘ notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the scheduled service amount, which will be added to your next service.
No Shows
If you are a ‘no show’ meaning you do not show up for your appointment and do not tell us, you will be required to pay 50% of the scheduled service you were booked in for. This will be charged to your next appointment. If you do not wish to pay the cancellation fee, you will not be rebooked.
Spa packages and wedding bookings will require a 50% payment in advance.
Buoy Vouchers
We offer Buoy Vouchers which can be bought either online in our store or at reception. To redeem these vouchers, they must be presented upon arrival prior to your service.
How to Find Us
We are located on the 2nd floor on the mezzanine in the beautiful Majestic Centre at 100 Willis St, Wellington.
If entering from the Willis Street entrance, please go up both sets of escalators and turn right towards Habit Gym, carry on past the gym and proceed to the right over the secure glass bridge to our Salon and Spa. (Please note this entrance is unavailable on Saturdays. See below for Saturday and after hours entrance information.)
Saturdays & After Hours Entrance
Please enter the building on the Boulcott Street side of the Majestic Centre (right next to POP bar). This is also the entrance to Habit Gym. Proceed through the double glass doors and up the stairs to our Salon and Spa.

If you are feeling unwell we would appreciate it if you could contact us to reschedule your appointment.
Parking
There are a number of secure carpark buildings nearby. As indicated on the attached map, we would recommend either using public transport or ride-share services, as on street parking near the salon and in the CBD is not always guaranteed.
If you are driving to your appointment, please allow time to find a car park beforehand.
